We are pleased to be the first Veterinary practice in North Wales to offer laparoscopic keyhole spays and a variety of other procedures performed laparoscopically.
Our regular visiting surgeon Dugie Gemmill is one of the first veterinary surgeons in the UK to obtain this brand new qualification more than seven years ago.
What is laparoscopic keyhole surgery?
Minimally Invasive Surgery using rigid endoscopic equipment allowing for better visualisation of the surgical area, as well as less internal tissue trauma for the patient. The keyhole surgical incisions are between 0.5cm and 1.0cm in length therefore, patients are much more comfortable and the recovery time is reduced considerably.
